Hello! My name is Emily Fankhanel. I am a graduate of Hurricane High School where I was a member of the cross country and track teams as well as a 4-year-member and president of Hurricane's award-winning Red Hot Show Choir. I am currently pursuing a degree in Health Sciences at Marshall University with minors in psychology and communication disorders. I have remained actively involved in performing arts as a show choir choreographer, through choir and dance, and have earned “best performer” awards in both show choir and as a dancer for indoor percussion groups, which have included Tates Creek Indoor Ensemble and Cap City Percussion. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering at animal shelters and I’ve enjoyed helping young children learn how to read by volunteering as a literacy program teacher at the Huntington City Mission. I teach group fitness classes at Marshall’s Recreation Center too, including dance fitness, Bodycombat, and NinjaFit. I love being involved in anything that may bring a smile to others' faces or joy to others' hearts and I would be absolutely excited to play any character for your special party or event!
