Elizabeth Cary Brown
I started taking dance lessons at the age of 3 and began performing on stage with the Charleston Light Opera Guild and Children's Theatre of Charleston at age 12. Since then, I continue to perform with the Guild in numerous ensemble and leading roles. Some of my favorites include Les Miserables, 9 to 5: the Musical, the Civil War, and most recently A Christmas Story: the Musical. I studied ballet, jazz, and tap with Nina Denton Pasinetti and was a member of the Appalachian Youth Jazz-Ballet Company in the 1980s. I study classical voice with Deborah Lucas of Charleston, WV. I also perform with Murder and Merriment Improvisational Dinner Theatre throughout the state of WV and surrounding states. I am a self-employed General Internal Medicine physician in private practice in South Charleston, WV and am married to my husband Kevin. We have two dogs, Molly and Frosty.
