Rudi Arrowood is the co-owner and founder of two Putnam County based businesses- Putnam Princess Parties and The KingMaker Marketing Agency.
Rudi has been all over the map in Putnam County. She grew up in Buffalo and graduated from Poca (where she was part of Poca's award winning Visual Volume show choir!). She now lives in the Hurricane area and works in Winfield.
Rudi gained much of her on-air experience as a television news reporter at WCHS-TV in Charleston where she hosted the award winning “Fugitive Files.” That experience led to her serving as the Executive Director of the West Virginia Sheriffs’ Association and then the Media Specialist for the West Virginia Department of Agriculture. Rudi also worked with children every day in Putnam County Schools where she served as the county’s Communications and Special Events Coordinator.
Now, Rudi is running Putnam Princess Parties and KingMaker Marketing full time with her partners in the Tarr Family. She performs (when she can get some free time) with the Charleston Light Opera Guild- most recently as Dolly Parton in "9 to 5: The Musical." She is a proud Christian and if you catch her around she'll probably chat you up about her passion for small business, entrepreneurship and social media… and she’ll probably exhaust you with her constant random quotes from “The Office.”
Rudi is married to Ryan Arrowood and assists him and his Teays Valley Christian Prep Basketball team with live social media coverage at nearly every game. They also parent two ridiculously awesome cats and one adorable hamster.
